I have a bachelor’s of science (BS) in molecular biology and neuroscience, as well as my medical degree (MD). I received my training in neurology, and did several research fellowships including neurooncology and free radical & radiation biology. My focus is translational research—taking discoveries in basic science (laboratory/bench research in molecular biology) and translating them into clinical research (e.g. clinical trials).
